Our 2025 Tenacity is a blend of old vine Cabernet Sauvignon from McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley.

Australia holds the largest plantings of old vine Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the world. Our wine possesses a complexity that only be gained from old vines.

The survival and stamina of these rare old vine assets are thanks in large part to the special sites on which they grow, many of them historic in their own right. They’re also a testament to the generations of dedicated winemaking families who have long cultivated and cared for them.

COLOUR: Purple in the glass

AROMA: An intense bouquet of clove, fresh plum, cedar, dark cherry and roast meats

PALATE: Nice deep and dark flavours roll out along the palate, this wine holds a core of juicy dark berry flavours. The late palate is wrapped up with firm tannins that support a
lengthy finish.

WINEMAKING: The grapes were crushed into and fermented in seven and 10 tonne open fermenters. During the peak of fermentation, the batches received regular pump overs
three times daily to extract colour, flavour and tannin. The average time on skins was 12 days. Once the parcels were dry, the fermenters were drained off and the skins pressed, with the pressings combined with the free run. After 24 hours the individual batches were racked to barrel where malolactic fermentation proceeded.

MATURATION: Aged for 9 months in hogsheads and the remainder in, one to seven year old French oak.

CELLAR POTENTIAL: 3-5 years, under optimal cellaring conditions.

REGION: McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, South Australia
